Matthew T. McGrath is an attorney with the firm. Matt has spent most of his life in Upstate New York having graduated from Hilton Highschool. He later graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, and cum laude from New England Law in Boston, MA. After law school, Matt returned to Rochester as an Assistant District Attorney for the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney for almost nine years, Matt prosecuted hundreds of felony matters. Matt spent the last five years of his time at the District Attorney’s Office prosecuting major felonies such as home invasion burglaries, robberies, homicides and crimes relating to the illegal distribution of narcotics. In his time, Matt litigated approximately 40 felony jury trials to verdict with impressive results and numerous convictions.
Matt is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Matt is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. Matt is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce.
