Introduction
Katharine “Kate” Felluca is a Partner with the firm. Kate is a summa cum laude graduate of University at Albany (SUNY) and a graduate of Boston University School of Law, where she served as Technical Editor of the International Law Journal. Kate began her legal career as a civil litigator in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before returning to Rochester, where she was born and raised. Kate has been a member of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2017 and is currently serving her fifth term as the Chamber’s Secretary, having previously chaired its Membership Committee for two years. Kate is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations.
Overview & Experience
Kate focuses her practice on commercial real estate, lending and business law. She helps individuals and businesses purchase, sell and refinance assets, most commonly real estate, whether it be a commercial building or a residential investment property. Kate also counsels her clients in forming business entities, such as LLCs and corporations. She also represents banks, credit unions and private “hard money” lenders in giving various types of secured financing, including commercial mortgages, equipment and other non-real estate secured term loans, construction loans and SBA guaranteed and bridge loans. Kate prides herself on her attention to detail and takes great pleasure in helping facilitate the growth of individuals and businesses in her community.
